It's amazing what a difference a couple weeks make. Usually I photograph newborns between 5 and 10 days old but this little guy I photographed when he was 3 weeks old. It can be harder at this age to get babies to sleep the way I need them to in order to get those peaceful sleeping baby images. But between me, his mama and his proud daddy, we managed to get him to sleep.

This family has the friendliest dog ever. But she wants nothing to do with Baby A. I just love her expression in this one - "you can take my picture but I'm not going to look at him".

WOW! I just love the one of Dad and baby with the tattoos and shirt - it is exactly the type of shot I was envisioning.... and yes the dog in this one is not exactly into the baby yet - she basically ignores him right now! yet she always wants to lie near us so I think she is warming up. Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!

Lots to share over the next few weeks as I get caught up on blogging again - a maternity session, some family sessions and a whole lot of newborns.
