So much has happened since my last post. The birth of my first nephew, Christmas, the Olympics here in Vancouver, lots of newborn sessions and this....
And to really show how long it's been since I've posted, the little bean in this 11 week ultrasound is set to arrive in less than 2 weeks.
If you've contacted me recently for maternity, newborn or family portraits, you'll know I'm already on my maternity leave (I'm nowhere near as mobile as I like to be when photographing little ones!) and planning to start shooting again on May 15th. I have a waiting list started for the spring but won't be booking yet for another couple weeks.
There are going to be lots of fun changes coming to Jenn Di Spirito Photography in the next couple months including a new website, portrait collections that will make it easy to decide how to display your images on your wall (and save you money too!), a gorgeous new product that I'm so excited to offer (but you'll have to wait for more info on that), a beautiful new welcome package for my clients and much, much more.
I'm also planning on offering a special bonus to everyone on my email list once I open up bookings for spring sessions. If you're interested, you can sign up by entering your email list in the sign up box at the top of your screen, between the about section and the search field. And you don't have to worry about me spamming you.... in all the time I've had that box up there, I think I've sent out one email although my goal for 2010 is to send them out quarterly.
So the blog hiatus is going to continue for another few weeks while we prepare here to become a family of four but I will be posting regularly again soon. When this blog first started it was strictly personal - a place to share our own family images and for me to update friends and family on our lives. Then it changed to be business focused, and I've since realized that having a strictly business blog doesn't work for me either (obviously, by the lack of posts). So going forward you're going to see a good mix of what's going on at Jenn Di Spirito Photography as well as a good dose of what goes on here a la casa Di Spirito.
I'll be back to let you all know about our new arrival when he/she appears. And for those who have asked, we didn't find out whether the little one is a boy or a girl, we are truly happy with either. Although Angelo has been telling everyone he's having a sister who is going to be a boy baby so he's in for a shock either way. :)

I'm so excited for you! And I'm excited to see everything you have coming up. I might have to make a trip over with Colin and Chloe for a family shoot.
